Does anyone know what sort of haircut he had in the latter half of the movie? I really want a haircut like that (I'm not gay incase anyone is wondering). I know it's something like size 2 short back and sides but when I say that to my barber it does not look as good as won bin's haircut in the link below (see last image):
I don't know much about hair styling either (also not gay) (just kidding) (but no, I'm not gay, I'm just kidding about that needing to be mentioned) (just kidding (?))
BUT, if the scene in the movie is any indication, it looked like you could almost do it yourself if you just have a buzzer and some different sized heads. Just buzz your whole head one length, then throw on a shorter length head for the buzzer and buzz the sides and back a little shorter. Then, obviously, style with paste, gel, mousse, whatever, because hair doesn't just do that on its own.
Failing that, you could always try bringing a photo to a legit hair salon, you know, where girls work, not necesserily a $5 haircut barber joint. Now that's gonna make you feel gay, but there's nothing wrong with looking good. There's also nothing wrong with getting a manicure while you're in there. Barney Stinson would tell you the same. Once again, totally not gay.

Haha thanks for those tips! I'm more inclined to cut my own hair rather than go to female barbers because they might think I'm gay (which I'm definitely not).
More than two years later, and I'm still not gay. Also, I still have hair, which at age 52 is no small accomplishment, and I still have it cut. Has anyone gone gay in the past couple of years? If so, has your newfound sexuality informed your choice of hairstyle?
It's now 2014, and it appears that changes are afoot.
Although I have no idea what they do in the confines of their homes, I see that many of my neighbors are getting very stylish haircuts. I also notice that most of the domestic animals in my small, suburban town are getting hairstyles that are clearly non-traditional, and very edgy. These same animals seem to be pairing up in same-sex couples.
As for myself, my hair continues to grow, but I find myself being mocked daily by small children, and those whose ethnic origins are on the Asian continent for my complete lack of style. I feel no increase in my attraction to other men.
That's a really good look. I'm hoping you'll find enough time away from googling Won Bin pics to tell us how your hair turned out.
For either style, I would seriously recommend going to a salon rather than a barber shop. The people at salons will be able to tell you what kind of products you need to use to keep up the styles. Barbers are fantastic, but they aren't really into style.
Oh, and I'm not gay. But I'm not a man either. I hope you don't mind me posting.
I have to say, this thread has totally made my day. Wish I'd seen it sooner!
It's like you're psychic! After reading the first sentence I was thinking "This guy is super gay!" Thank god you made sure to inform me that you in fact ARE NOT gay! You can never be too careful about people thinking you're gay.
I think that part of the equation is also the fact that this actor is Asian and therefore has thick, straight black hair. I am a Native American (Jicarilla Apache) woman, and know that the Asian men have hair that is just like our Native mens' hair -- THICK, straight, impossible to gel sometimes, and BLACK... And hot (not just hot in the eye-candy way, but HOT during the summer. How do I know? Native WOMEN have the same kind of hair. Mine is THICK, straight, long and stiffling hot in the summer sometimes. The upside is that all my hair is on my head... No body hair (negligible) elsewhere, so I've never had razor-burned pits (never grown hair there -- nice and smooooth), and my legs can be shaved and last a week and a half before needing a touch up. Wow... I went off on a tangent. MY DEEPEST APOLOGIES. It's 3 a.m. and I'm a little sleepy.
