This didn't have interesting characters or a plot.
It's pretty, but it suffers with Chalamet and Zendaya in the primary roles.

shareJust saw it today. I liked it a lot. Sure.... Chalamet was a weak choice as Mau'dib and Zendaya was another odd choice but overall, the action scenes are quite good and the cinematography is top-notch. I was entertained.
It's an 8.0/10 from me... looking forward to part 3.
As for comparing it to LOTR:2T goes... I'm not exactly a huge Tolkien fan, I would say both movies have there pluses and minuses. It's a coin toss in my view.
