Has he failed to deliver in a way that amounts to fraud? Was he involved in any wrongful or criminal deception as a result of making his films?

How is he a Fraud?
Personally I think he's just a bit bland. He makes movies which are technically perfect with great actors, but there's always something missing. His overreliance on Hans Zimmer sucks too. Dune needed an epic score, not generic 2010s film music.
He pretends to be good when he's really an overrated hack.
shareThe minute his films stop receiving good reception by the majority of critics and audience. Still has not happened yet. I personally think he is one of the best directors working today.
shareHe makes insipid films for insipid people.
shareHis recent films such as Dune and Blade Runner 2049 have glorious production values however they do have something of a flat effect. Could do with some more emotional dynamism. Perhaps a bit more oomph to the editing. Tighten up the pacing.
