Cause the promo sure makes it seem like they are with Daryl saying "We kill him first", him vs Daryl and there aint a chance in hell Daryl dies. He is by far one of the most bad ass intimidating looking characters we've ever seen on the show, and besides that Ryan Hurst is too good to waste for just 2 episodes.
If they kill him off this early they are freaking morons.

Well tbf did you see the distance of that fall in that elevator shaft? Its not that far fetched or dumb to think that fall killed him, plus he had blood coming out from his head.

I don't get why Daryl didn't shoot him in the face from the balcony like he did to the walker. Beta is a fairly obvious target. He's head and shoulders above the rest and stood out like sore thumb.
[spoiler]Beta will die, how is the question - Negan is the one who kills him in the comics to show how honest and trustworthy he is now. But he's in jail again, which didn't happen in the comics - he killed Beta and then came back to prison. Now I guess Darryl is going for the kill.[/spoiler]
