Where is Judith?
Did I miss something? I don't remember her dying, but she seems to have disappeared as if she never existed.

shareReally? Of all the possible gripes to have with this show, I can't imagining (until now) anyone complaining that we're not seeing enough Judith.
She--her character, a baby--shouldn't exist anyway. She doesn't exist at all in the comics, for good reason. A group of post-apocalyptic characters wandering around in a dangerous landscape with an infant doesn't generate much credibility, if any.
Sandoz, please quote me where I stated that "we're not seeing enough of Judith". Look at the three words in the title of my post. Which part of "Where is Judith" do you not understand?
shareWell then, to strictly answer your question...
Judith is not on screen. No-one cares where she is. It's a good thing.
She is at Hilltop
shareSo agree - babies would never make it in the ZA.
shareJudith was shown a few times this season.
Negen even got to hold her when he brought Carl back to Alexandria.
With Maggie at Hilltop
shareShe's around. I'm curious . . . do people really care about Judith? LOL! I honestly don't care about her at all. I heard she died in the comics . . . . . I'm just saying . . .
shareI'm glad she's alive because she represents hope in that miserable world. But I'm more glad that we barely have to see her and can just assume she's off cooing somewhere in the background. ... being non-disruptive and pissing off as few people as possible by her very existence.
I don't have to see people going to the bathroom to know it's in between the scenes that we see.
It annoys me when writers give a character a baby then forget it exists. For one, it makes the character a shitty parent. Two, babies take up loads of your time, energy, and emotion. If you want the character to have a baby then the baby should constantly be part of the story.
share" If you want the character to have a baby then the baby should constantly be part of the story."
Why?
Not much of a reader are you.
shareWhy can't we assume things take place that we don't see? Why must we see everything?
How much bitchery do you think we'd see if they showed too much Judith when people are already complaining about the fact that she even exists when they don't have to see her all the time..
Judith may have a place in the show when she can do more than coo and piss and sleep.
I actually agree with you, and I fucking hated babies before I had a couple. Actually, I still strongly dislike other people's children, but I love my own. It's super unrealistic for Rick to be doing any of this shit when he has a baby, because if someone like myself couldn't imagine doing anything other than taking my kid and getting as far away from any dangerous situation as possible, then pretty much anyone who's not straight evil would do the same. So basically it just makes Rick seem disgustingly shitty.
shareSame, didn't like other people's kids and still don't but unless you are a horrible person, kids are part of your everyday life, a consideration in every decision. I would no more pawn my kids off on others than I would ask strangers to keep my wallet.
