The scene with the motion sensors in back yard...
Really well done, and genuinely spooky.
When it comes to slasher movies, it's all been done before. They're running out of creative ways for the killer to off someone or to create truly spooky, tense scenes. It's easy to become desensitized to it all....but that backyard scene with the motion sensors, and Michael getting slowly closer to his victim each time the lights blink back on: scary.
