If you are over the age of ten and like this movie, you have issues.
I'm sorry but seeing all these alleged adults post praise about this thing makes me genuinely worry about our future and the future of cinema in general.

shareWell, it's critically acclaimed and last time I checked, film reviews aren't written by people of 10 years old.

shareSeriously OP out of all the movies that pick on, this is it?!?! Not Transformers, not some teen fantasy film, not a gross out comedy but this movie?!?! Yeah you need to chose your battles more carefully, sir or mam because there are WORSE things than this movie I can assure you. If anything this movie gives me hope about cinematic comedies in general...
shareI'm an adult, and I still enjoy some kid movies. My favorite movie is an independent Canadian film called Junior High Spy. I also really like an underrated Disney movie similar to Home Alone, a lot of us aren't familiar with Blank Check.
But, this movie seemed too childish. It had nice effects, but it seemed more like a kids Lego World. It has a lot of mixed up ideas, that the plot isn't memorable and it's hard to really know what the plot is. It almost felt like it was for kids with ADHD. The characters in the movie were one dimensional, and the enemy being glue is just crazy.
I'll give the person who wrote this credit, they had a real child's imagination to come up with something like this. But, despite that, I wouldn't say that this was a good movie.

I'm 37 and enjoyed this movie. My children, 15 and 17, loved it wanted me to watch it, so we all sat down this afternoon and just finished watching it. I loved the silly jokes. It was supposed to be a fun movie, it achieved it's goal.
