Who actually enjoyed the movie?

I don't know about you but I personally really enjoyed that movie! :) This was the best werewolf I have seen in a movie and I thought that Amanda Seyfried was perfect for the part. What did everyone else think?? I hope there are more supporters of this awesome movie! :)

I found it to be pretty entertaining. Could've been a little better overall, but it was good enough for what it is: a film adapted from a fairy tale that wasn't made for small children.
If anything, i'd liken it, conceptually, to ever after.

The BEST werewolf you have seen in a movie???? Really? This CGI wolf on steroids is the best werewolf you've seen? Well... that certainly baffles me. About the film itself, I kind of enjoyed it, though I wouldn't watch it again.

Anyone who watched this movie six times deserves to be locked up...IN THE ELEPHANT!

The only thing I enjoyed about it was being proven wrong when I thought the wolf was Peter or the Priest. But oh man!!! This film could have been better.

I enjoyed the movie. It wasn't a great movie, but it was enjoyable nonetheless.

It was a okay movie. Nothing spectacular. The only thing that really made it somewhat interesting was trying to figure out who the wolf was.

I can't imagine sitting through it 6 times, though.

Just watched it, and we all LOVED the film. Me, husband, and teenage son. Not a gore fest, or all sex, and not everything needs to be! Refreshing to see something that avoids those common errors. Really fun film, and one we have added to our collection.

You're right, it had NOTHING.

No plot.
Miserable Acting.
Terrible Characters.
Rampant Stupidity abounding.

Seriously, every second that the main girl and guy were on screen, it looked like it was all they could do to not start vigorously Humping in the snow.

"What are they? Gas Grenades?"
"No, its Cat food!"

I didn't say it had nothing; I said it wasn't all gore and/or sex. There is, you know, more to a movie than those two things. The movie does, in fact, have a good plot, and the acting isn't bad at all.

Totally agree! Even took the time to do a review of this one, because it's getting WAY too bad a rap. I think some are so jaded they don't know how to enjoy something that isn't all sensation. Take out the gore and sex, and some people get bored. Sad reflection on the viewing public, really. Quality film in this one. We bought it.

Judging by a lot of these posts I'm guessing most of the people saying how great it is and how good the wolf was are fairly young..teenagers basically.

The wolf was poor CGI. Very poor. The teen male lead (Cesair the woodcutter) with his pale complexion, and anachronistic quiff was clearly a poor man's R-Patz. The whole teen love triangle between Valerie, Henry the Blacksmith and Cesair (either one of whom *could* be the werewolf) was far too reminiscent of Twiglet..sorry Twilight and it's sequels. This came across to me as a blatent attempt by Catherine Hardwicke to cash in on her success with Twilight.

The one saving grace of this film was Gary Oldman who's Father Soloman was a sort of Werewolf-finder General (unt mit anuzzer foreign agzent to add to hiz repetoire vhile he chews da zeenery, yah?)

If any of you young Twi-Hards want to see a decent adaptation of the Red Riding Hood story with really cool werewolves (and transformation scenes) I suggest you check out 'The Company of Wolves'(1984) which knocksd this into a cocked hat!

Well I heard it was a bad movies but I thought If Gary Oldman said yes to it how bad can it be? And personally I think Amanda Seyfried is more than a pretty face I think she is pretty talented. So I gave it a chance...and oh boy I'm so happy I didn't watch this at the theater! Amazing how much bad directing can screw up a movie! I don't get it who gives this woman projects and why? And the dialogue.. it's not how they said it..it's what they said...I literally felt my low tolerance brain cells commiting suicide from all the stupidity. The ones that escaped Borat gave in now that's for sure.
