They couldn’t cast hotter actresses?

You know, someone we’d care went missing?

I don’t imagine psychotic billionaires spend their time focused on unattractive women.

Unless maybe the psycho billionaire knew no one would give a damn if ugly women vanished.

But ugliness doesn’t get the audience invested.

Especially the men this film is trying to preach to.

reply

The women cast in the film did a great job and this was a really fantastic and engaging film. Who would you have cast?

reply

Fuck off

reply

Do you disagree?

reply

Your trolling is out of control

reply

Not trolling. Have you seen this movie?

reply

BE NICE,CABBAGE CROTCH.🤨

reply

I forgot you have two accounts, loser

reply

I DO NOT....YOU SOUND SILLY.

reply

They needed a black woman so they could run home the fact that all rich white men are evil rapists

reply

As long as she was hot.

reply

She was not.

reply

She was not.

reply

at this point i'm not sure if it even needs to be said as it's common knowledge for anyone under the age of 30

reply

They weren't ugly. They were "obtainable." They had looks where, if they weren't famous, the average guy would feel he had a shot if he approached her at a bar. Hollywood has been trending this way for a while. Millie Bobbie Brown, Ellen Page (prior), Emma Stone, Jlaw, Akwafina, Lupita Nyongo, Daisy Ridley and Phoebe Waller-Bridge are all famous modern actresses, that are all in the in the five to seven range on the ten scale. There are lookers as well(e.g. Robbie, Daddario, de Armas), but plenty of average looking women that wouldn't have been cast in leading roles decades ago.

reply

I don't want 'obtainable' or 'attainable'! I can see that every time I go out! I watch films to step into a fantasy world.

reply

Exactly!

Otherwise I’d hang out at Walmart.

reply

😂

reply

Bc Zoe Kravitz wanted to empower standard issue black women being able to overpower the white devil. Makes it more “powerful” when the black woman isn’t a supermodel. *cringe*.

Whole premise was just silly. Attractive tech billionaire isn’t bamboozling some plain Jane chick to his private island to drug and rape at his leisure for months to years lmao. So dumb.

reply

Same as the recent Invisible Man where we’re supposed to believe a rich guy would waste time trying to control the frumpy, unattractive Elizabeth Moss.

reply

Yep!

reply

damn. i was a huge fan of moss from mad men so i totally didnt realize what was happening. it had an ugly white woman and a black guy as her helper. definitely woke movie.

reply

Does Alia Shawkat show her breasts? Cause that might be worthwhile. I'll always have love for Maebe Fuhnke.

reply

Wanted to see them years ago but she’s too damn ugly now.

reply

Thank god she was placed next to Sarah (the Latina actress) for 2/3 of the movie. It gave me something attractive to distract myself from her. What was worse though? The gapped baby teeth or the long, worn face? I agree with you 100% OP. It was borderline torture.

reply

Yes, I had this issue too when watching. The women needed to be better looking for the plot to work better.

reply

But... but... 'attainable' is the new 'hot'! (😂😂😂 Sorry, I tried to keep a straight face)

reply

If I want attainable, I’ll hang out at Walmart. 😄
