Watched the first episode. Meh.

Eh. It's not as bad as the sequel, but it's not as good as the first movie either. I got a few chuckles out of it, but the jokes are very hit or miss and honestly I felt like more of them missed than landed. First 10 minutes they were pretty much running the same joke into the ground and in true MacFarlane fashion there are way too many forced 80's pop culture references. For him to bring back Ted 9 years after the second movie makes me think he either Universal offered him a huge amount of money to do this or he's completely out of ideas. Maybe it will get better, but after the first episode I'm not in a rush to watch the rest.

maybe its the thc, but i am lovin it
especially with them using the whole 1990 growing pains episode satire stuff
plus its funny

Same, as someone from the 80's and 90's era. Feels like we're back in the olden days when politics wasn't much of a thing for most of us until later on in life. But I agree with the OP that some of the jokes were hit n miss but overall it's a nice show to waste time on with some chuckles here or there.
