Don't know if it is true, but that's too much for something so useless and devoid of value as a stupid TV series.

It is also a dick move to always release these shows weekly, and even to skip weeks. It's just like a slap in the face to viewers who after all fund them.

Many TV series are about 4 seasons long. It's completely normal.

I don't recall when Silo ever skipped a week.

And weekly release schedules have historically been very normal.

You don't sound like you know much about TV history or culture.

I like the show, but they seem to have trouble filling just one season with enough plot. I can’t imagine going on for 2. Maybe they should quit while they are ahead.

reply

That's a great criticism that I highly agree with.
They have whole episodes where virtually nothing happens to inform
the viewer about this world, or to move the plot forward.
I don't want them to quit because having read the book I know there
is a lot of interesting stuff to come -whether or not they stick to the
book exactly or not.
But episode where their generator breaks down made me want to club
someone I was so bored.
Same with the first episode of the 2nd season where they just follow her
around to no productive point. I hate it when they do that.

S1 could have been a 90-minute movie. I can't understand the plaudits this show gets.

Confirmed for the pickup of seasons 3 & 4.

reply

I always wait for an entire season to be released before watching, and still glad I did it with the agonizingly slow burn that is Silo Season 2.

reply

I usually do that too - it's less expensive too.
