I want more Tucker and Dale

I just saw this at the theater and it was great. I didn't really care about the teenagers, I would have liked to see an entire movie or Tucker and Dale fixing up their vacation home. Tyler Labine and Alan Tudyk are awsome."

reply

I agree more Tucker and Dale.

They could definitely do more with these two guys.

reply

So very agreed.

Don't breathe air. Birds *beep* in it!

reply

I agree to the fullest. These guys are the perfect pair to continue making movies about.

"I like to rock n' roll part of every day."

reply

I look forward to seeing more of them in the future.

Why quote other people when I like the sound of my own voice?

reply

I can't wait to see another Tucker and Dale movie. I hope it will be as fresh as this one. I loved it!

"Tucker and Dale vs. Lawsuits"

the parents of the teens get wind of the rumors that Tucker and Dale are vicious murderers and decide to sue them

lol but really...I wouldn't mind seeing more Tucker and Dale in the future...just saw this movie tonight and loved it...brilliant and original

reply

The families would lose their cases and Tucker and Dale could counter sue for malicious use of process. I know you weren't being serious, I'm just saying. The surviving witness corroborates Tucker and Dales story.

Prof. Farnsworth: Oh. A lesson in not changing history from Mr. I'm-My-Own-Grandpa!

reply

I agree, but if there is a sequel, I hope they don't follow the exact same format. The "Three's Company misunderstanding" approach to horror was absolutely brilliant, but it would wear out its welcome a second time. Maybe throw in some supernatural elements?

reply

Tucker and Dale Vs. The Necronomicon.

Prof. Farnsworth: Oh. A lesson in not changing history from Mr. I'm-My-Own-Grandpa!

reply

YES!

But on reflection it would feel too much like an even cheesier Evil Dead sequel? One of the Cthulhu Mythos could be a riot with goofy cultists instead of the college kids?

... Sanity and Happiness are an impossible combination ...

reply

Well, he has the right idea though, like... "Tucker & Dale vs. Dracula" or "Tucker & Dale vs. the Undead" and stuff like that. They could do a lot of things.

You can't kill damnation, Mister. It don't die like a man dies.

And don't forget more Katrina Bowden would be great !

Although I agree that a sequel probably couldn't live up to the original, I can't help myself. Need more.

Almost every other horror series resurrects the villain a few dozen times. Chad must come back.

reply

They do set it up for that, the journalist at the end says the killer's body is yet to be found, and her and the cameraman are snooping round the lumber yard at the start and you see a burnt Chad poke his head round the doorway after he hits her with the pole. Chad's on the loose and is going to try take revenge on Tucker, Dale and Allie! I really hope they do a sequel.

Chads not dead. You see him at the beginning kill the reporter from the end.

reply

i agree 100% with soulwaves2000. i'd like to see more, but the combination has the potential to go bad really fast.

reply

Agreed! I would watch another film with Tucker and Dale.
