It would of been better if they tried to take a more serious approach. It's just way too silly in a cheesy way for this movie to be good.

This movie was perfect. It is actually a serious movie or the characters were all serious but inadvertently caught up in a comedic situation. Or the outcome turned out comedic. Great writing, direction and acting.

The silliness is part of why the movie works so well for me. I thought they did a great job of combining the elements of a spoof, a screwball comedy, and a horror film.
