How many of you will be checking this out this weekend?
Releases this friday. I'm sure some of you are big Indiana Jones fans and will be going to see it?
Can we have a show of hands.

Not interested in seeing this at all !
If its on television some day, I'll check it out. I'm not an Indiana Jones fan, I'm Raiders of the Lost Ark fan.
shareI hope Mads Mikkelsen won't be blamed when this flops. I like the guy. Harrison Ford probably carries the weigth of failure most and I'm just fine and dandy with it.
shareI'm sure he won't shoulder much blame at all. Ford and Waller-Bridge will take some of the blame, but I think most of it will be chalked up to Indiana Jones not being popular amongst younger cinemagoers anymore and that Disney had misplaced faith in the I.P.
shareI will likely go check it out. I'm on vacation starting this Friday.
shareCool. Have fun. π
I'm waiting for the digital release. I like the first three Indiana Jones films but I don't have nostalgia for them (they were released before I was born and I didn't watch them till my mid-late teens), I'm also not THAT big a fan, they're decent flicks but not something I'm dying to see.
The box office for this is tracking very poorly. I'm genuinely curious how well it'll do. It seems that teens and young adults these days aren't really into Indiana Jones and that the film may perform poorly due to his.
Thanks. Yeah, I don't think this is going to do well at the box office. A lot of people have seem to lost interest in Indiana Jones and the reviews so far are mixed.
shareI was gonna see it but the spoilery negative reviews have really turned me off. Releasing this movie to the critics a month early sure was a dumb idea.
shareNOPE! Not after what they did to Luke!
shareI plan on seeing it, Indiana Jones was the first action hero that I remember seeing as a kid. That has stuck with me, the character is awesome. I think the Last Crusade was such a great ending to that trilogy and I wish they would have stopped with that. Espesically playing monday morning quarterback looking back on Crystal Skull they did the character dirty. So I am apprehensive about this one, but imagine there being a new movie out with your absolute favorite character from childhood and choosing not to go see it.
I can only hope its good, but I don't hold out a lot of hope.
If anyone sees this, I went on vacation for the 4th and went to see this with my family. This movie was great! I am so happy it was better than the Crystal Skull. I almost had myself convinced this was going to be worse, but I was so wrong. I think a lot of people have a problem with Disney, maybe not Indiana Jones? I slightly agree with that.
But this movie was great, the de-aged Ford was good, there was a couple spots they way he turned his head, or made a movement that looked weird, but that didn't bother me at all. I had a nitpick that there was no movie logo that turned into a mountain peak. But the story was good, it brought up what happened to Mutt Williams from Crystal Skull, it got emotional near the end. What a ride! I am going to go see it again this weekend now that I am back.
been dying to sit and have some movie theater popcorn for years now. no good movies worth going to see. or the download comes up too fast coinciding with my days off from work. wanna go when theater is not too full so will wait but hopefully will go see this one. last chance at seeing this character like i did when i was young. yes.
shareA fan of the original three but ain't paying to see this.
When Victor Lucas of Reviews of the Run fame gives it a lukewarm review, I just gotta thinks it's got problems.
