The couple just keep sending red flags over and over and over again and they STILL spend the days with them??
They escape and then they COME BACK????
That's kind of the point of the movie. The couple is weak and spineless.
shareThey left twice. If the car hadn't broken down, they would have gotten away. They tried to get away which contradicts the whole submissiveness accusation. In the end they were outnumbered and with a kid in the back of the car, how do you fight back?
