That's still less outrageous than this movie's central thesis: Retardation is curable by getting buffed every which way imaginable, by a series of random strangers. If such a theory had any basis in fact, Monica Lewinsky, Paris Hilton and The Kardashian Sisters would've all been Nobel Prize winners by now

They will try to dress it up with as many awards and "critical acclaim" as they want, but yep, essentially that's the point and message of the movie. Everything else is noise.

Don't forget, never getting married, being successful at a job that was originally a boy's club, having a lot of "friends" who don't really know you, or often double as bed buddies, either having no kids or popping out a few to be aborted or raised by someone else, and as long as you have tons of people to sleep with, dying alone is never gonna factor in...until it does.
