No argument there but
women can be just as scary, just as threatening, just as manipulative and they often have an implicit alliance in terms of men hating, women hating, as well as self hatred.
Not all of them of course but many of them. Many men and women have experienced this and it would be nice to see that portrayed in any type of film for once.
It’s called the human condition and women and men are equally fucked and we can all do better, MUCH better.
There's also apparently a biological difference between men and women and men for instance are naturally physically stronger than most women and can't get pregnant and as for human condition, true, but sadly - we can't all just ERADICATE all human flaws like that and be perfect, as much as most of us may WISH.
How come for instance, in cinema (I know movies is fiction but still...) at least, it is considered normal and alright or at least not too taboo to hurt say men in vengeance who do bad things but nowhere NEAR the same is generally thought for women (not saying I disagree) including those who may be guilty of something here and there?
How come online, it isn't considered taboo or speak ill (even if not by everyone, at least by most civilized people) who do bad things but mostly not the same for the opposite example? (And why don't some of those people just politely EXPLAIN instead, no matter how "strongly" they feel about certain matters?)
And is a lot of what is said about men in general true and that for instance, there's a reason we have some form of defensive attitude about them but not the other group?
More importantly - do most people KNOW all of this or just feel and go on gut instinct, even if in latter cases at least sometimes, it happens that they may end up being RIGHT?
And do you view matters like this in simple black and white terms or in complex ones - actually, maybe latter anyways but still...
And is there an actual logic and BALANCE to in and all of this? Also, do most movies generally tell the TRUTH, at least about, how world should be rather than how it merely is? And how are we supposed to generally be and feel about all of this, if we don't want to be constantly upset and whatnot? What about fantasizing?
We live in a gynocentric society with social mores that dictate we should care far more about women and girls than men and boys, and that it's acceptable for the latter group to suffer for the sake for the former. That suffering includes being blamed as a class for the sins of a minority - the sort of speech that would be illegal if any other group were the subject. So men can be portrayed as evil in a horror movie and critics will applaud it in the name of validating women's irrational fears, while paying no attention at all to the demonisation of half of the human race.
