shareYes, I agree. I like Pine and I liked his chemistry with Gadot in the first one, but his reintroduction in WW84 did feel really forced. Now she's had to say a second emotional farewell to him. A third time would seem a bit ridiculous.

Understandable. WW3 would be Gadot's fifth (sixth, if you count both versions of JL) outing as Diana. I'm sure she wants to stretch her wings. Also, she's 36. She looks fantastic, but to go beyond WW3 would take her into her 40s, and she probably feels that would be the right time to hand it off.
