Cyborg scooter gang

I loved that the gang of street toughs were cyberpunk Mods. The mirrors on the hover-scooters was a great touch.

A bunch of teen punks who fight with switchblades and chains (like a 1950's gang) and ride around on multi-colored bikes that are supposed to look badass, but actually look like Vespa's.

The scene where they were chasing the mayor's assistant was cringeworthy.

The only thing worse than their speeders look and design was that they weren't speedy. At. All. I laughed so hard during that scene. It reminded me of this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=csuZHyW-iGI. I didn't mind the gang at all, but the chase scene was brutal.

I was debating whether to watch this or not then I saw a screenshot of these power rangers and decided that nope, too cringe for me.

You have to wonder what the production designers were thinking... a desert planet with little water and lots of dirt... and this gang from West Side Story in the future all look cleaner than Macy's window mannequin and ride around on shiny bikes that look like they just got pulled from a brand new Hot Wheels play set.

I actually think if this was being read as a novel it would be pretty bad ass. Bunch of outcast edge lord cyberpunk kids teaming up under a Boba Fett with an axe to grind. The budget is just nowhere near where you need it to be to pull off this story.

Why is Boba running all these low level errands in person any ways... makes no sense. A Hut can barely move so you know Jabba was running things remotely.

Also his whole operation is like 10 people... how does that work???
