One would have died before the other.

So one problem with the ending is, that one still had to die before the other. So what would have happened for the individual that had to live alone for the rest of their existence?

After he dies she could always put herself in the infirmary stasis pod until everyone else wakes up.

Or maybe, for true love, they both float out the air lock into space when the first person is frail and near the end.

Yeah, age may have something to do with the decision. Lets say one of them still dies around like their 40's or something. The other will still have a long life to live. Might as well just jump in the pod. But let's say they both live into their 90's and one just dies first. Why not just die a long with him for a "The Notebook" ending.

I'm trying to go for an engaging, funny youtube channel so, if you have the time, take a look. Hope you enjoy what you see. Thanks in advance. A review of the movie here-https://youtu.be/LE_aVVuNqnE

But can they actually use the repair bed anytime they want so they can live healthily like maybe for 500 years (or until they were bored of life)? Because the bed looked really powerful, it can even revive a dead man.

reply

He was only "mostly dead." I don't think it was like the beds on Elysium.

My point still stands though... they can use the repair bed everytime they "mostly died" (that is before they are "really really dead") so they can live for as long as they want to.
