I feel it would have been better if one of the villains had survived to go to prison and have to live with knowing their plan failed and that they were defeated. Plus it's fitting that Talia would go to prison; she was born in a prison, this means she will eventually die in one, too.

shareNah no prison could hold her or Bane or Batman. They all escaped the worst prison ever and are extremely dangerous because of this. They all come from the 'league' so no prison would work. They could've made her end better though.

sharewe're talking about ninjas that've been trained since birth, so within the rules of Batman's universe, yes, it is entirely plausible they would've escaped a supermax if they could escape the worlds greatest prison. Either that or they would have been tracked down by the remaining members of the league and been broken out.
