nah more like Trump did it for publicity and to entrench his support base. There's no way that the Secret Service would have ignored that building and the direct line of sight it gave to the President in their walk through and perimeter establishment protocols. Not in a million years unless Trump told them to. It's clear that the the so called assassin was just a patsy who didn't know that he was apart of some political stunt that led to his death. Also the fact that he was given an opportunity to raise his fist in the air by secret service is further proof that this was staged. No way would they have let him raise his head, even for a moment.
I would gladly deal with it myself then rely on pigs to save me any day. Here in Canada the cowards take almost an hour to show up if there's a robbery, and even longer if theres a shooting involved. The royal Canadian mounted pigs are useless when it come to investigating violent crimes and can only get anywhere if there's help from the public. Even then they are complete trash. I remember sending in a tip to their crimestoppers website; it was a video on YouTube that showed an assault. Rather than taking action the pigs told me to report the video to YouTube to have it taken down as they don't have enough to go by. Yep really competent. I can solve a better crime out of my ass than these pigs can

For Obi wan who is a master it would not take very long at all to rebuild this connection and 10 years (I'd say more like 20 years given his age in ANH and his age in OWK, but that's beside the point) is arguably more than enough time to use the force again. It's no different from the concept of muscle memory in weight lifting or martial arts: The more trained you were previously, the quicker you'll rebuild your previous levels of stamina, endurance, strength, technique, etc.
