I'm normally not one for 'sassy black chick' stereotypical roles but I quite liked her.
I thought she was a woke college campus student. The same character could have easily been white.
So why did she need to be white.

Agreed, but there's no possible way the college would ever make that mistake or that they would force her to stay in the room with a male, even for one night.
