Is anyone surprised?

Bill Skarsgaard is another nepo actor whose time in the spotlight is inextricably linked to his dad's fame and pull in Sweden. He's fine when he's flailing his arms around in a movie like It, but he has no pull as someone meant to carry a film like the role of Eric Draven here.

I can't but compare him to Evan Peters in that first season of American Horror Story in that one scene, similar makeup. That dude portrayed gigatons of gravitas in a tv show that Skarsgaard is not putting up in this movie.

That's an apt comparison. It's been a long time since I've watched that but I remember being impressed enough with that season and the actors to watch several more.
