Vote NO to Organ Donation

I used to have a neutral view to organ donation but having just seen the film nothing could drive me further to a YES please on my driver's licence. It has turned me to DISGUST that anyone could contemplate donating organs or receive them. We are caught up in heroics that we can save lives or be saved. It has made me realise we are not meat at the butchers to be cut up and have vital organs removed or robots exchanging usable parts. We are fantastic individual humans who have their own identity! It is NOT selfish to preserve our state. Let's face it BABY, WE WERE BORN THIS WAY!

Funny you should say that because I felt exactly the same once the sacked (to be) teacher explained to the children what their real purpose was. From that point on I lost interest in the movie, although I gritted my teeth and watched to the end just in case things would get better. They didn't.

We know that these donors are capable of love, therefore have a sense of self and belonging and sharing that self with another person. So why the f... did they not just run away and prolong the happy times together forever instead of being cut open by a bunch of Mengele-style butchers? There was no security in evidence. No indication that the secret police would track them down.

A quite ludicrous movie, really. Totally depressing -- but perhaps that was the point: To frighten us all away from any idea of donating our organs in case future governments make it mandatory. Dunno whether this movie showed in cinemas, but I'll bet there were a few discarded donor cards on the floor afterwards.

I'm with you Ruth. Ther are too many deviants in this world for me to trust someone with my nearing death harvest!!

I've read this three times, I still have no idea if you're for or against organ donation.

I've seen things that would make you want to write a book on how to puke.
