Rostand didn't write "Cyrano De Bergerac" about a midget

Hollyweird is illiterate.

reply

I’m offended by this movie. Why can’t the midget be the one trying to get with the woman, and the normie be the one hiding in the bushes telling him how to tap that?

reply

I bet you never read a book in your life. That's how literate you sound.

reply

I bet you never have either.

The original Cyrano was of normal height yet had a big nose which caused him to doubt himself as a lover.

reply

No one gives a fuck

reply

Obviously you do since you responded.

reply

Why are you the way that you are?!

reply

Because I have reading comprehension.

reply

Shakespeare didn't write "Cyrano de Bergerac" at all. Edmond Rostand wrote it (this answer written when the OP originally stated it was written by Shakespeare).

reply

If you want to do a historical movie with a dwarf as the lead, then just go ahead and do it. No need to turn Cyrano in a dwarf when it's all about his nose (or turn Christian in a black man). But I'm a bigot for thinking this, of course...

reply

I'm glad we agree that you're a bigot.

reply

Lol, you just called yourself a bigot as well, you freaking troll.🤣

reply

I agreed that you are a bigot. I said nothing about myself. But keep grasping at straws if it makes you feel better. Yes, I edited my post above to better explain my feelings on the matter.

reply

No, you simply said you agreed with me. MY ENTIRE POST. 🤣🤣🤣

Naw, this is a rather faithful adaptation of the play. An ugly man loves a woman but helps a handsome young man gain her heart instead.

I also enjoyed the modern Steve Martin/Daryl Hannah version as well.
