Still the best Xmen movie ever made

First class imo is the best men ever made. I wish they hired Vaughn to direct future XMen movies rather than bring Bryan singer back.

Future past was good but it had a typical tired time travel story and plot.

Just like this franchise having different timelines as an X-Men fan I can't ignore the original backstories. No Jean, no Scott & no Bobby? Mystique is one of the X-Men? Sebastian Shaw is not fat? Well that doesn't matter but the introduction of the Hellfire Club could have been a stand alone film. Excuse me while I enjoy what was, instead of all these films that want to be anything and everything but what made the stories beloved to many fans.

I thought Halle Berry was awful in the role of Storm, but in my opinion Jennifer Lawrence is worse as Mystique.

I agree with you...
Vaugh´s direction is safe bet imo...not that he plays it safe on teh contrary...his style has lightness but it´s pretty tight...
Surprising...

I just watched First Class for the first time and unexpectedly I liked it a lot.

For me X2 is the best X-men film, but First Class gives an honest fight for the second place.
