What the ????

Shannon Elizabeth is THIRTY SEVEN.
Edward Furlong is THIRTY THREE.
Monica Keena is THIRTY ONE.

What audience was this supposedly aimed at? The original was about a group of high school kids. Shannon and Edward could have kids in high school. I know this one doesn't say these people are in high school, but still. What group of adults, that are old enough to have mortgages and own their own homes, would need to have a party in an old abandoned house? They have their own homes!

Whoever wrote the script for this was just making bad decisions from the get-go. Full of bad effects, over inflated boobs, terrible dialogue, too much cursing for my taste, and not a single likeable character in the whole bunch.

Actually, Shannon Elizabeth was 34 when she shot the movie. The film was then shelved for almost two years. I thought she did a great job.

The only one that didn't work well was Edward Furlong.

I don't know how close you've been to college girls (or girls just out of college) who like to party, but some of them can look every bit as old as Elizabeth Shannon and some older.

Frankly, for me there were many other issues wrong with this movie that kept me from thinking about the ages of the actors.

Um, have you seen the original it was a remake of? Those things u mentioned that u hated were EXACTLY what people LIKED about the original... including myself.

unlikeable characters = happy to see them get killed.
