Lucy is a Mary Sue and has no place in this movie

I wouldn't have mind Lucy if they were realistic, but they made her too much plot armor. Had they just killed her off in the first combat scene in the bedroom, then it would have been realistic and perfectly fine. This continued to happen throughout the entire series. She continued to live rather than die. They are treating her as if she's the hero. How can anyone watch this and not be disgusted by the woke propaganda?

reply

NOOOO , youre not allowed to think or say that! She is a brave warrior fighting the toxic patriarchy!!!1

reply

If you want to find woke you will find woke.

reply

exactly, they go looking for it just so they can whine about something

reply

Have you ever seen Commando starring Sir Arnold Schwarzenegger?

Amazing movie!

reply

IKR?

He beat up a load of white guys - the Bad guys were white and were portrayed as complete pussies
, as an insecure angry white male this makes me angry . Its so WOKE!!!
Woke I tell ya!
Screw Arnie and his wokeratti movies!

reply

Haha 😂 Good one...

reply

oh dear , another show you cant watch because of your woke goggles affliction
shame , its a good show .
oh well , sucks to be you.

reply

Yes, she has plot armor, but that is to be expected for the star.

The one blatantly woke thing I noticed is every white male is one of or a combination of weak, evil, stupid, cowardly, hideously deformed, of questionable morality, etc...

Male and pale is a winning combo. Deadpool Wolverine recently showed that.

The woke agenda is still being pushed, but it seems to be lessening as people get sick of the awful woke characters. Hopefully Hollywood will give up on it soon.

Did you just miss the writing of Maximus? Who is not white.

No-one in this show is pure so far. Lucy is the closest.

Everyone in this show is varying levels of anti-hero or villain, except maybe Lucy I guess.

Also Fallout was highly successful and got renewed.

What?

I never said all minorities/women were flawless.

Do you have any idea how to have a conversation/debate without strawmanning?

I suspect you do not.

reply

You, when referring to this show said:

"The one blatantly woke thing I noticed is every white male is one of or a combination of weak, evil, stupid, cowardly, hideously deformed, of questionable morality, etc..."

Almost everyone in this show is white, except Maximus, and almost all of them - him included, are flawed characters.

I would also suggest that Lucy's brother isn't evil, stupid, cowardly or "deformed" or of questionable morality. Only thing you could say is that he's physically weak. And that's a white male.

reply

The brother is weak and admitted to being a coward.

Yes, almost everyone has positives and negatives, however, the white males have their negatives front and center of their character.

The ghoul's wife is super flawed. She is arguably the most evil character in the show, however, her most emphasized characteristics are, beautiful, smart, cunning, successful, "boss bitch", determined, unshakable, rich, etc...

The male white characters, if they have any redeeming characteristics, are primarily negative attributes. The ghoul would be the one exception if it wasn't for the fact that he is a nearly psychopathic(he seems to have a bit of empathy left), murderous, ruthless bounty hunter, who tries to kill Max and other "good guys/gals".

The minorities have their positive attributes emphasized while the white male characters have their negative attributes emphasized to the extreme. To the point it isn't even believable. The word cartoonish comes to mind.

But he's not evil. He's not stupid. He's not deformed. He's not of questionable morality.

No? The brother shone after the first episode. Did you just stop watching after that?

>The ghoul's wife is super flawed. She is arguably the most evil character in the show, however, her most emphasized characteristics are, beautiful, smart, cunning, successful, "boss bitch", determined, unshakable, rich, etc...

Dude, the plot twist is that she is evil. What the fuck are you even whining about here? It wouldn't have worked as a twist if they depicted her as evil from the start. According to you such a character can't exist by your assumptions of how non-whites are portrayed. And there absolutely were a few hints before that big reveal that she was too involved in Vault-Tec.

>The male white characters, if they have any redeeming characteristics, are primarily negative attributes. Almost everyone, including the black woman as you just noted is flawed.

You think Maximus has his positive attributes emphasised?

reply

It appears you have a 3rd grade level of reading comprehension.

This is clearly not going anywhere productive or worthwhile.

Carry on being obtuse and demented.

reply

So you have no answer at all. The comedy of you thinking they were really trying to suggest Barb is virtuous after revealing that she isn't is absurd. Barb is the biggest example against your claim here. She's possibly one of the major villains of the series.
