No Super mutants wtf?

Now I understand that according to the original lore Super mutants would have been rare in 2277 due to the vault dweller blowing up the FEV tanks when he killed the Master but bethesda retconned the shit out of that and Super mutants are all over the place on the east coast. Very disappointed that we never encountered any Super mutants in the show would have been a cool scene if the protagonists had a shoot out with them. Missed opportunity. OR maybe the budget didnt allow for it. Anyways I hope we see them in Season 2.

Super mutants were also created by other means, not only by the Master, so there is no shortage of them. Obviously the show creators wisely didn't want to throw in the full Fallout menagerie in the first season to keep people more interested in future seasons. At least deathclaws were hinted at the closing of Season 1.

I hated the super mutants. I wouldn't mind If they were not in the show at all.

In the original Fallout you encounter the Supper mutties later in the game.

technically that's incorrect and this ties in to how Fallout 1/2 handled difficulty scaling. you can, if you want, meet super mutants right away, but you will get ganked.

they should've given us some horror one second sequence of what's about to come. well anyway
