Surprised to hear that. They could have made that a little more clear on the poster. There is no indication of a "part 1" and "part 2" there. Or even a supplemental title indicating that there are two films.
Not sure why this is btw. It could have easily been one film instead of two.

If they've learned anything from Mission Impossible: DEAD RECKONING using the PART 1 tagline, it's not to since the movie lost $$$$$ because of it and BARBIE steamrolling everything in it's path didn't help either, plus, loss of IMAX Screens too

yeah, if Mission Impossible didn't make it clear, Kevin Costner's Horizon part 1 pretty much shut this strategy down forever.
shareMy sister was very excited to see this and was dragging me with her. She flipped out when she learned this was just part 1 and canceled those plans immediately. She dont put up with that half movie bullshit. (She's still hella cross Divergent was never finished). I would guess a lot of folks are gonna feel that way.
