Is Wicked really that long of a show?

To make sure nobody bothers to go see it. They're gonna figure it out just like Tom Cruise did with his Mission Impossible part 1 fiasco. People are done with this nonsense! Nobody's paying to see half a movie.

Part 2 could be made to a Wizard of Oz remake or at least so much tie in, that they can create on success the sidequel remake.

They should have pulled a Hobbit and padded it out to a trilogy.
