She is not particularly talented. She is not particularly attractive. What she is is a fantastic marketer. She knows how to capitalize on trends and never does interviews so as to be immune to criticism and gotcha traps. She markets herself expertly.
Makes sense. Idolmakers have been doing it for decades. She or her handlers have perfected the process.

Personally, I don't hate Beyonce, but I think she's overrated. People call her one of the best songwriters but she's never written a single song herself for anyone to know if it was her writing that makes it good.
