My take.. loved it.

They captured the vibe of the original film but it was better in every way because of advancement in technology. There was in your face death scenes with people getting sucked into the twisters left n right..to the point where I was laughing at times out loud in the theater. Twister is a great film but was very unbelievable in so many ways...twisters literally took the unbelievable and raised it to the max. They paid homage throughout the film with their choice in actors and the way they dressed them...nobody dresses like Kate lol...they pretty much took Jo's clothes and slapped them on a girl in 2024. Its beyond silly but I love it...so I guess it worked. Not sure how this new generation will like this or if it will even be re-watchable the way twister is...I find almost every damn film I watch these days..no matter how much I like it...I rarely go back to watch them again. why is that? Oh and did Anyone notice how the male lead in this acts very similar to Carey Elwes' character in twister? I wonder if that was by design or not... because I got no homage paid of bill Paxton in this!

i thought Powell came off like a McConaughey clone if anything. I didn't think this movie had the striking visuals of Twister (with the cow and everything) and Powell and Edgar Jones are no Paxton and Hunt but it works on its own level. I had fun with it

If anyone's interested, I reviewed the movie on my youtube channel. Appreciate any feedback. Trying to improve -
