If you hated the first movie you are really going to hate Kick-Ass 2 as the realism will be completely thrown out the window.

You have Mother *beep* running around the street with a gun in his hand wearing the most gayest high heeled villain costume in the history of movies. In real life people couldn't care less he had a gun. They just couldn't stop laughing looking at an idiot in that kind of costume. lol

Some people don't seem to understand this film is a comedy that is not supposed to be taken seriously.

I loved the movie. I put it right along side the Dark Knight movies, the Avengers and Iron Man 1 as my favorite super hero movies.

It's just great fun from the opening scene where the crazy guy jumps from the building to the ending fight scenes where the mob boss gets shot out a window impaled on a missile.

I can't wait for Kick-Ass 2.

Oh yeah. A fourteen year old nerd and a super ninja ten year old girl single handely taking out a mob wiht nothing but swords, sticks, and a freaking jet pack. Such realism never before reenacted on screen.

Did we see the same movie? Kick-Ass is 17, and Hit Girl is 11, and she had LOTS of guns and ammo with her when they attacked the mobsters.

Yah, I guess realism is the key word in super hero movies, neh.

Gee goly me!! I was off by 3 and 1! OMG! What a difference that makes!!! I guess we both must have forgotten the climax where Hit-Girl uses her katanas after she runs out of ammo.

This movie is fantasy, suspended reality and satire.

Yea this movie was solid.. no one is saying its an all-time great or that 20 years from now it will be considered a cult classic.. its just a good fun movie that had had a lot of talented young actors that will most likely go on to do great things. Especially the girl that plays hit-girl.

LOL. Just because you think a movie is overrated doesn't mean it is. It's not a fact, but an opinion.
A film can never be overrated, but people can believe it is.

And the are far worse pictures both from 2010 and from the decade. Have you watched other movies at all?

It is truly awful. It's so badly directed (funny because Vaughn did a remarkable job with X Men: First Class).
