Deadpool did it so much better

I watched Deadpool expecting the feeling I had in Kick Ass. Enjoyed the movie but it never left anything memorable in me mind except the sexual jokes. Pool is a crowdpleaser only.

I agree with OP, but Deadpool probably had a bigger budget. Kingsman was far better too.
The reason the sequel failed was not because it was terrible (it was though), but because the first film was overrated. To be fair, it was first in its genre, probably, but after the hype and people watching it, and after the dust settled, most viewers obviously felt it was overrated.
C.G.Moretz blamed piracy, but every film loses a similar small percentage to piracy - if piracy took a huge chunk of profits then it was never going to be very profitable anyway (I think it still made some money). She basically was blaming the fanboys, as they're the ones who're so hyped about a film that they need a pirate version ASAP, which is often before release dates.
