Karl Urban or Brad Pitt

The way Karl holds his gun, the way he strokes his tie, the way he drinks his coffee, the way he delivers his lines, and even the hair. All the nuances of every part of his performance looks like he studied at the Acting School Of Brad Pitt. Anyone agree?

Brad Pitt studied at the acting school of Robert Redford. Check out the movies, "Sneakers" and "Ocean's 12"... then watch them together in "Spy Game". Brad Pitt uses so many of Redford's mannerisms and facial gestures: tongue in the side of the cheek, the grimaces... all Redfordian stuff.

Agreed 100%!!!! People of my generation just don't realize how little of Brad Pitt is original, because they don't know who Robert Redford is! but anyway, Brad Pitt is NOT Robert Redford and Karl Urban is NOT Brad Pitt. Way hunkier.

I thought it was one of Karl's tighter, stronger performances and had an intensity to it that Pitt's never really had except perhaps in movies where he's shnutz, but even there it's looser, not as clenched. So I don't really see it. But if you do, hey, that's your perspective.

Nope. Doesn't make me think of Brad Pitt at all.

I can understand the Brad Pitt observation but Karl Urban's performance is pure intensity which his role badly needed and what made him perfect is he isn't the biggest name in Hollywood. The pursuer in this movie had to have an intense demeanor and he had to be somewhat intelligent and have empathy for his catch. Brad Pitt years ago could have pulled this off but these days his edge has fallen off slightly since doing the Ocean series.

Let's not all be morons...need I name movies brad Pitt gas been in? Or have you all forgotten? Since your all so popular in your mundane lives.

I agree. Pitt could have played the role without much loss. Not taking anything away from Urban, I thought he did a good job. As I watched, I kept thinking he´s a dark haired Brad Pitt.

Yes, I think is more a physicial look alike than in the mannerisms. Like a less-pretty-boy version of Brad Pitt. (although B. Pitt) also lost the boyish-loom with age..
