How old is everyone on this board?

19 years old.

I watch it because of the guy from Everbody Loves Raymond.

rickathedj, though people feel like this in there 20s I think somewhere in life you will sorta feel like these guys at somepoint... I like this show because its about getting over whatever u are going through and iam pretty sure these characters will move on and get over there current problems.. I doubt anyone will stay in this stage of life forever..

lsstatic, yes, that was the point I was making, but I wasn't very clear. I mentioned that at some point in your 40s (or so) you realize that's how the rest of your life is going to be, but you accept it, because... well, that's how life is. As the poet Jagger once said: "You can't always get what you want. But if you try sometimes, you'll find, you get what you need."

Don't blame someone else for setting the trap that you were stupid enough to walk into.

46 year old female and was wondering how many people would get the "Billy Jack" reference and recognize the song from the movie? LOL.

~livin' my life like it's golden~

reply

Billy Jack came to my mind after the first 4 notes of the song. LOL

I'll be turning 40 in June, and for those of you in your 20's, don't blink.
I knew after the first episode that this show would have an effect on me. Not only that, I really think that a lot of thought was put into the casting of these 3 main characters. Each of them is in a different situation in his life. Bakula the bachelor, Ray the broken marriage, and Andre just trying to raise a family. I see a bright future for this show.

Without imagination there is no reality.

Wonder how many men watch this versus women. LOL.

May be too much "reality" for men of a certain age...? LOL.

LOL, so funny you say that...my husband watched ONE episode with me back when I posted and said quote "not for me! I dont have to watch this show...I LIVE it" OY! WEll...it is tied for my fave show, think it is excellent in all areas...hope it continues :))

That scene gave me an ear to ear grin. Which makes me a man of a certain age.

I'm so tired of the club scene... So are the baby seals.

I'm 51, male, and love what I've seen thus far. I also thought the Billy Jack reference was right on target...very good.

just turned 52 last week, two kids in college. My wife and I love it so far - and we watch very little tv now, but I actually DVR'd the entire season (sooo much easier than the old VCR, lol). The Billy Jack song (One Tin Soldier) was great, but I laughed loudest when Ray asked Scott Bakula (who my wife LOVES!) if he thought he was "Mannix" when he said he ran the plates. Who remembers the opening to Mannix? Time to go to You Tube or Hula and play that opening theme!

So far I probably take the cake (birthday) for being the oldest. In fact anyone using the phrase "take the cake" has gotta be ancient. I'm 57 but due to prolonged adolescence I am still able to embrace my inner-child. I don't think this is all that unusual for a number of American males, which to me is part of the appeal of this show. I have great hopes for MoaCA and have been very pleasantly surprised by Ray Romano's acting. Hopefully MoaCA will remain both highly entertaining and thought provoking, plus continue to communicate that hint of melancholy associated with growing older.

At age 65 I'm probably the oldest; but haven't learned much in the last 10 years.

Still think young. Have an 07 Mustang GT.

44...I like the show but I think they play it a little too old at times.

Maybe I am Peter Pan...lol.

I'm 51, a tad older than the characters, but I can totally relate. Actually, I'm pretty sure I could have related to them in my twenties, thirties, and forties, too. The fact that life doesn't always turn out like you'd planned is pretty much an ageless concept......Jake

Lead me not into temptation...

27 and can definitely relate to these guys and sure the way things are going in the world today, maybe even a majority of people can relate to them. It's tough living these days.

I am adult just like the men on this show and I go though some things that they do too. Its a very enlightening and amusing show that has had me hooked since the Pilot. I am glad to Scott Bakula, Ray Romano, and Andre Braugher back in the game because they are some talented actors who have been around the block in this busines. It nice and refreshing to see an intelligent show like this show and that TV is not all about "New Hollywood" or actors under the age of 25. Thank you TNT and I hope a decade or so from now to own all the seasons of this show on DVD or Blu-Ray.
