I was so invested in the action that I dint notice this until a second view

I just rewatched the movie and now is that it hit me that Immortan Joe must be affected by radiation, I didn't think much of it, but I thought was odd that a man with a harem only have three sons and all are "genetics absurdities" with Scrotus having a deform face and Rictus Erectus having the same respiratory deficiency than Immortan both need machines to breath beside Rictus being kinda retarded, and of course corpus colossus, that also explain why the child that one of his wives have born completely deform, his obsession with breeding (I imagine he wants an heir capable to rule the citadel) and why he was so desperate when he lost the male child "perfect in every way" from Splendid, also why his body is deformed and covered for what looks like tumors as we see at the beginning of Fury Road.

The guy cant have healthy children, most of them born deform and die after birth and the few who lives enough to become adults have serious health and mental issues and all because Joe genetics is fucked up by radiation

I like when movies don't give you everything with exposition dialogues at once, and you can still find things after a second view.
