Her eyes may be weirdly spaced but she's one of the strongest female actors in her age range and definitely not bad.
Still, I'm not a big fan of this casting choice because it's hard to picture her as an action star but Fury Road was a banger so I have my hopes up.

Yes, she looks like an alien, like E.T., to be more precise, and her eyes look huge and displaced because her head has the size of a golf ball. I can't understand what is the problem with hiring a properly matured good looking woman. For this movie talent doesn't matter much, but charisma is super important.
