Killed my high expectations for it.
nothing new, give it a pass.
sharei still liked it. it was like "the tenant" crossed with "rear window" with a dash of "rosemary's baby"
shareThis type of film is definitely a bit played out.
shareIt was a thinking man’s thriller. There just weren’t any explosions every three minutes to capture your attention. You dolts should just stick to Michael Bay movies.
shareI guess it just sucks for the thinking men who’ve seen this exact plot a thousand times. Good for you that you have such limited experience. I would love to wipe my memory sometimes just so I could experience cliches like this for the first time.
shareThe ending is laugh out loud material so it's almost worth sticking around for that
shareI finally saw it. I didn't love it but it was OK. What bothered me was the main female character. I just found her very annoying, with her constant nervous, sulky expressions and her doing stupid things like following the guy she thought was following her and even knocking on his door! 🙄
I'm usually a sucker for happy endings but this one was hard to believe, only because it was so out of character for Julia to pull it off, when all she did during the entire film was look nervous and sulky.
Did you - or does anyone else who might read this - think the female lead, Maika Monroe, bears a strong resemblance to Amber Heard?
I just watched Significant Other and this chick’s grating voice and sulky expressions were annoying. Can’t believe it’s the same girl from It Follows.
shareI haven't seen Significant Other but I'm sure her sulky expressions annoyed you too. I guess that's her MO. Yeah, she was different in It Follows. Or maybe her expressions were more appropriate for a teen/very young woman in that type of movie. At any rate she is annoying!
shareIt's an okay movie, watchable. 5/10
