I don't know if it met expectations for the hype or not. Some funny moments, though. I would imagine a lot of hidden easter eggs were sprinkled about.
I thought the most interesting and shocking scene was the road scene. Quite the irony...
I know the show is tamed down from what the comic is, but this was super lame.

Homelander’s mirror scene was a great nod to Willam Dafoe’s Norman Osborn in the first Spider-Man film.
I liked Hughie getting so surprised that A-Train actually said sorry, he wasn’t expecting that.
I think one more season after this to not drag it out would be great, the pacing has been really solid and a lot happened this episode and it wasn’t even the season finale.
One of the best, if not the best episode. Btw, pepsi A-Train???
