Why am I not surprised.
I was never impressed by the trailer. Looked like it was filmed to look all black and grey and not colorful as I imagined from reading the book. Also, the idea to film only half the book/story on condition of how much money it makes that they'll finish it, seems like a guaranteed flop to me.
