Oh yes, it has been created. It redirects you to the online petition. Now it's even easier to send your friends to help stop the Boll from rolling... more movies.

If you don't like Uwe Boll films, don't watch them. The man's just trying to make a living. As said before, it's probably just a marketting campaign. Even if you do get a million signatures, he'd keep making movies.
I'm gonna kill you all kinds a' dead.

Signed. Stop Mr. Boll! Just... Stop!
shareAnd yet if you know his movies all suck, you obviously keep watching them. Which I believe defeats your purpose. If you don't like them, don't watch them. If no one watches them, he won't get the funding to keep making them. But people obviously do, therefore if he likes filming them and people keep watching them... it would be stupid to stop.
You guys don't get how the hollywood world works.
Supply and demand.
More demand = more supply.
Less demand = less supply.
No demand = No supply.
It's not high demand = no supply
I repeat
If you don't like them, don't watch them
It's a HELL of a lot easier and faster then a stupid online petition that means nothing in the end.
PS. I've worked on his stuff. He doesn't care about the naysayers as long as they keep watching...

Signatures are overrated.
Boll's movies suck, yes. But I think he just makes movies for fun. Just like everyone should. I can't stand watching his movies, but with the commentary, they're hilarious! He's more than just a bad director, he's more of an Ed Wood character who tries everything to do what he loves.
Plus, sometimes it isn't bad direction. It's just badly written.
You're spoiled now

Guys, I don't think you realize what this man is doing. He's financing his movies through media fonds which the investors will deduct from their taxes here in Germany. Effectively, the hard working German tax payer is paying for this crap to be made.
He is a leech in my eyes, the world would be a better place not only if he stopped making movies, but if he was struck by lightning in this very moment.
Read up on him and you will find no way but to agree with me.
He actually funds his work through private investors (he's talked about this in many recent interviews and on his DVD commentaries). The only tax breaks are from Canada, through the production company that finances his films, which is based in Canada. His own company in Germany has stock options that people can invest in; these investments are then used to fund his work.
You're also missing the fact that his movies (besides Dungeon Siege) do turn a profit, so the people who invest in his films get their money back.
And besides, where the money comes from is irrelevant. Every person in the world has the right to express themselves creatively. I don't believe in censorship on the grounds of taste. If people think his movies are bad, so what? There's a whole world of films out there to experience.

Well...if one looks at the video games alot of his movies are based on, its pretty clear that they are not a work of any genious thats for sure. Bloodrayne, Postal, Dungeon Siege...they are pretty much about killing stuff. The stories in the games are more than a little lacking. And yet people expect movies based on those games to be great? I can`t think of a single movie, based on a video game, that ended up great.
shareWell, I probably would have agreed about the petition or whatever it took to stop Uwe, however that was until I saw "Postal".
Granted, it is only one ray of light resting between countless garbage, but it is there nevertheless.
Idiocracy takes place in the present http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0387808/
Why stop him from making movies? Isn`t it just a better idea to stop watching his movies? Nobody is forcing anyone to watch them after all.
shareJust finished watching his recent movie Rampage.
Very, very impressed. It is a very well shot, well edited and well acted film with more than just shock factor to it.
I have only seen a couple of his films prior to Rampage and they were absolutely dire.
The guy has seemingly come on leaps and bounds as a director in the space of one or two films. Whether he continues this trend or goes back to his bad old ways;
I would never have gotten to enjoy Rampage if people like the OP had their way.
I'd far rather be given the choice to avoid his poorer films than have the chance of seeing a decent film (like Rampage) taken away.
I want him to stop making movies because he's preventing other quality directors from using the same stories. When will we ever see a decent Bloodrayne movie? Probably never thanks to Uwe Boll.
I was hoping the Bloodrayne games would get at least a moderate attempt and sticking to the plot, and be at least up to Resident Evil standards.
I have yet to see any really good movies based on video games and would be surprised if I did. The best case scenario seems to be mindless fun. Besides, there are lots of directors just as bad or worse than him. Having seen a fair amount of direct to video films, I know this to be true. For that matter, I find Michael Bay movies to be worse, in general. That said, if he can get enough people to watch his films, then more power to him. I think his films are mostly mediocre, not the best or worst stuff out there. Some of you people need to get a life and grow up a little. Like others have said, if you don't like it, then don't watch it.
shareGet a life.
