There was a 9 year old!!

Okay in my town this movie is 14A so if you're 14 you can get in but anyone younger needs an adult with them. So I'm 14 and went and seen this with my whole family. Mom,uncle, grandma, sister and my siter's friend(17 and 16). There were other 14 year olds and stuff. As I'm leaving the theatre I seen a 9 year old walk down the stairs with her dad. She had a Hannah Montana shirt and everything. Plus this was the late show so like starts 9:50 end at midnight kinda thing.

I'm not one to discriminate parenting but I thought was pretty bad.

I'm 14 and thought this movie was pretty sexual for 14A.

You know the speed of light;so what is the speed of dark ?

i honestly wouldn't take ANY minor to see this movie.....in the USA it's rated R, (on the dvd it says for sexual content and language) and i would be REALLY uncomfortable to watch this with any kids or teens. i was born in 88 and i wasn't allowed to watch appropriate movies until i reached that age. for example, my mom refused to let my dad let me watch Dirty Dancing or Jurassic Park until i was at least 10. granted JP isn't all that bad, just scary situations, but my mom understood, and i agree, that kids don't need to see every possible situation in a movie before they turn 15. it's one thing to explain what's going on in a movie in terms a kid would understand, but i wouldn't let them actually watch. and i would NEVER use all the swearing around a kid that is in this movie. and i'm speaking as an aunt. i may not be a mom, but i do have kids in my life, and i believe it's my job to help EASE them towards adulthood and natural maturity, not push them head-on down the cliff towards adulthood. call americans naive and immature, but i know a kid who actually uses that language in his every-day speech b/c his parents let him watch whatever he wanted ever since he was 3...and he's 10 now. he always says F this and scr** that and c*ck this and p*ssy that.....it's terrible.

Wolverine: Hey hey, it's me.
Cyclops: Prove it.
Wolverine: You're a dick.
Cyclops: Ok.

Take a look at the videos on YouTube being made by 10 year olds. This movie has nothing on them.

Which really just proves the original point. Children are being exposed at an early age to stuff they shouldn't be exposed to. I don't agree with over protecting kids about movies etc. because that's just as bad, really, but wtf is happening in society when young 10yo kids are making sexually explicit and/or violent movies?

What the heck?!
No wonder this world is rotten.

I saw American Pie when I was like 8. Didn't understand any of what I was watching at the time so it didn't affect me.
