DRAGONS DOWNER
What happened? Everyone was preparing for war, everyone talked about war, everyone marched, sailed, or rode dragons towards war - but no war! You make sense of it.

shareLooks like I was right in dropping this show after the first season.
shareAlmost an hour and a half of tedium topped off with a minute or so of suggestions of impending action to try to get you to watch the next boring episode coming out. I fucking hate this show.
shareI’m with you 100% OP. What a freaking let down. They built it up to lead you to believe something was going to do down but nothing really did. Rhae was a total bitch to Alicent, I mean to her credit Alicent was more decent to Rhae when she snuck into her castle rather than the other way around. The dragons never really did anything. What it did show was Aemond becoming totally disheveled.
When the next season begins it would make sense for Daemon & Aemond to meet very early on rather than drag it out to the end of the season. It made sense for them to meet in THIS episode but of course that wasn’t going to happen. I think it’s poetic that Daemon now knows what Rhae knows regarding the story of the “Song of Ice & Fire”. Instead of being pissed that his brother never shared it with him, Alys did even better and showed it to him and now he knows what “real problems” are. So he’s kinda chill now knowing what the real fight is and for what. For everyone.
