I'm kind of at war with myself considering the news for this upcoming show. Part of me is kind of interested in seeing how it connects to the original Game of Thrones while another part of me is worried considering what a big letdown Season 8 was.

Maybe it's because the whole concept of prequels has been hit or miss over the past couple of decades. There's been some good ones like The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance (which got unfairly cancelled by Netflix due to them wanting to keep Cuties around), but also some disappointments like the Fantastic Beasts movie series (which I doubt will be continued considering the box office results for SOD).

So, since the show's coming in two more days, I'll have to see for myself.

Of course you'll watch it but you will be disappointed. The nudity is also not that good.

I watched the pilot and I believe it is better than the game of thrones pilot. I found it easy to see how a first impression of certain characters will change over time.
