The fight between Chavez and Drago was set to go ahead until THAT incident. So, the next best thing is to slot Dame into the ring? There must have been lots more qualified boxers waiting in the wings who could have taken that fight. It is highly implausible that Anderson would have been given a title shot. I noticed that no one mentioned his criminal record. By the way, Chavez did not look like a heavyweight boxer.

shareIt was fairly dumb and entirely unrealistic. But lets not forget, this is happening in a universe where one of the greatest boxers of all time, blocks punches with his face.

The direction was suppose to change starting with Rocky Balboa this had been said multi times by Sly and others.
