It’s only been a week and I can hardly remember any of it, just nothing seemed to happen until the last 5 minutes, I think this film has proved that Tom Hardy’s heyday has passed, Austin Butler just posed his way through it with a lifeless character and Jodie Comer’s character wasn’t interesting in the slightest
His character was completely pointless tbh, as was Michael Shannon’s character
He was brilliant in The Abyss, honestly feel he deserved an Oscar nomination for that role
He’s hardly in it
He’ll never finish the books
I agree, if they wanted a way of
Soldier Boy not killing Homelander then just have his blast not work on Homelander
No love for Needful Things ?
Heat, Heaven’s Gate, Lord of the Rings, Casino, The Assassination of Jesse James, The Thin Red Line and about a thousand more.
Gotta agree tbh, never read the books but both films are forgettable, the villains are poor and under developed, gearing up for the final battle I just didn’t care about any of the characters, contrast that to stuff like Lord of the Rings where you grow connected to the characters, these Dune films things just plod along with no structure
