from the soundtrack to the cinematography to the quirky characters, except in the wes anderson movies i can actually care about them
shareI didn't get that vibe at all. Maybe a tiny tiny bit in the color palette, but otherwise, there's no comparison. Wes Anderson likes to tell stories visually with very clean compositions, very precise editing, and almost compulsively ordered mise en scene. While I enjoyed Paddington quite a bit, it wasn't nearly as "visionary" a film. And it wasn't nearly as emotionally subdued as Anderson's work.
